Chapter 12

Using effective classroom communication and having clear understandings about what types of things are appropriate and what isn't will help run the classroom a lot smoother than without. It is important that the students understand what that is or chaos will ensue. Posting the classroom rules so that they are visible for all to see may be a good reminder of what is okay and not. By setting a good example to your students, they will be better students I believe. I think the best way to increase good behavior is by using positive and negative reinforcements. I personally believe that punishments and rewards (when used sparingly) can be super effective. Overall, by managing classroom student behavior can be good.
