Visual Impairment

I did not like using these masks at all! They stressed me out a lot because not being able to see has always been one of my biggest fears. The one that was the hardest for me was the macular degeneration masks. Having partial vision in both eyes was so hard. It was so tempting to look around the bars, but I couldn't! Also, I didn't have to wear one of the masks because I just took off my glasses. That was hard too because I didn't realize how bad my vision actually was! I sit at the front of my classes and I still couldn't see the board. It makes me very grateful for my glasses because without them, I would do a lot worse in school. I didn't mind that mask that generated blindness in one eye because I still had good vision in one eye. The Glaucoma mask was difficult to at first, but once I got the  hang of it, it became easier. These masks were a great stimulation activity to understand better what visual impairments are all about. It made me appreciate how hard they need to work to succeed.
